sri sri radhanath temple of understanding

outside of the temple
                                                                  inside of the temple

this is the iskcon(international society of krishna consciousness) temple in chatsworth. The next activity is to make jewellery for the Radha Krishna deities in the temple.

Krishna janmashtami is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Lord Krishna.this date is the 9th of August 2012.

I want to make and sponsor some jewellery for the deities.first i needed to know what they looked like in terms of scale. I was told by a lady at the temple radhanath that the deities are the standard size of us.which mean the jewellery will sort off be the normall human sizes but adustale in such a way so that it can be easily put onto the statue and taken off.

especially bangles the correct wrist size of the deities probably wont go over the palm and knukles so the need to be adjustables.

i looked for pictures of deities to see what sort of jewellery do they use.

looking at these pictures most of the jewellery is beaded so im gonna search for ideas on beaded jewellery.
